Production Scheduler

We are seeking a Production Scheduler / Process & Material Planner to support our manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate material planning, process documentation, and work order creation to optimize production efficiency. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and methods teams to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. The role requires independent judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and maintain engineering master's and work orders, update cycle times for machining operations.
  • Schedule, print, and release work orders, verifying accuracy of all production documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and plan vendor-managed inventory to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with Methods and Engineering to develop and maintain supporting documentation (models, drawings, inspection documentation).
  • Update part revisions and work orders per Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in the Visual ERP system.
  • Review production schedules and ensure required materials are available and approved by Quality.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, service support, and reliability.
  • Investigate defective goods and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, inspection, or quality teams.

What You Bring :

  • 3+ years of material planning, production scheduling, or process technician experience (or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience).
  • Advanced knowledge of Visual ERP and work order / process creation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR820 requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate costs, suppliers, and production efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Education :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Additional certifications or training in manufacturing, process planning, or ERP systems preferred.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements :

  • Eye protection in designated areas
