ABOUT THE ROLE : We're excited to welcome dedicated and motivated individuals to join us as Library Associates in the Central County Area! This temporary part-time job is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an innovative library system while making a meaningful impact on the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Processes library materials for customers, including check-in and check-out procedures.
• Registers new customers (borrowers) in accordance with established specialized protocols.
• Explains and enforces library policies and procedures.
• Provides information and answers questions from the public regarding library rules, including fines, fees, and material location, etc.
• Operates office equipment, including computers and performs other incidental duties in a small office setting.
• Assists in shelving and moving materials.
• Prepares and processes outgoing and incoming delivery shipments as vital, including packing and unpacking.
• Provides support for various tasks and special projects, as needed.
