Key Responsibilities
Instructional & Administrative Leadership
Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the Workforce Development program.
Support faculty recruitment, supervision, and development.
Oversee program compliance with Board of Nursing and accrediting body standards.
Contribute to curriculum development and instructional quality.
Prepare program documentation for reports, proposals, self-studies, and audits.
Clinical Site Oversight
Evaluate and secure clinical sites to ensure alignment with learning objectives.
Communicate with clinical partners, confirm placements, and ensure safety and quality of experiences.
Coordinate faculty assignments and site evaluations.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical rotation documentation.
Faculty Collaboration & Teaching
Teach up to 50% in skills labs, simulation labs, and clinical settings.
Lead faculty in strategic planning, assessment, and instructional innovation.
Support faculty in maintaining accurate student records, evaluations, and program data.
Student Success & Advocacy
Support student admissions, advising, and at-risk student initiatives.
Develop orientation programs for clinical and skills labs.
Ensure students meet graduation and licensing requirements.
Maintain open communication and mentorship for students.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse License : Active California RN license or willingness to obtain (relocation support provided).
Education : Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's in Nursing preferred (tuition assistance or forgiveness available).
Experience :
4+ years of direct patient care as an RN.
At least 1 year teaching in an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, MSN, or higher).
Proven leadership and management capabilities in nursing education.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Technologically proficient (LMS, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
