Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform the disassembly, cleaning, disinfection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and other equipment. Load, operate, monitor, and complete documentation for all decontamination, disinfection, sterilization, and monitoring equipment.
- Process flexible endoscopes; leak test and evaluate equipment; inspect instrumentation for cleanliness and proper functioning; assemble surgical instruments and kits using kit assembly information; package, wrap, and prepare loads for sterilization.
- Respond to emergency case requirements of the surgical team and other departments. Assess instruments, components, and supplies for adequate levels and request replacements in a timely manner.
- Stock supplies for surgical cases and code carts; assist in training of new staff and volunteers; function independently in the absence of the Manager or Supervisor; utilize computer systems.
- Maintain knowledge of EPIC and CSIQ / SPM (preferred).
Floating Requirements : May be required to rotate between the main SPD, GI, OSC departments as needed.
Qualifications
24 months of role experience required, with some in the last 12 months.12 months of travel experience required from any number of months.This role may require floating to additional units and locations.Local & travel allowed. Candidates living within 60 miles from facility will be processed as local.Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.12 months between Staff at Program : Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main ProgramPre-employment modules may be required.
