CNA I - ED

Position Summary : The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I)#works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse(RN). The#CNA I#administers direct patient care services with in the scope of practice as governed the North Carolina Board of Nursing.#The CNA I#also facilitates the work of the MD and RN. The CNA I assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to all ages of patients while following the policies and procedures of GHS. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent required.#Must have a certification from NC approved nursing assistant program as a CNA I and currently listed on the Nurse Aide I Registry with the NC Division of Facility Services. Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions effectively.#Current CPR#is required upon hire.#
