Pay Range : $135000-$155000 + bonus eligible

Job Summary :

Working as a Director Of Finance, you will be responsible for all division financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This position supports the Division Vice President and plays a critical role in providing financial guidance, insight, and strategy to support business growth and decision-making.

Responsibilities :

Generate accurate and timely financial data that guides strategic decision-making.

Ensure completion of weekly / monthly financial statements, including monthly operating reports, ad hoc reporting and forecasts.

Provide fiscally responsible financial updates to senior executive team by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.

Build trust with the Division Vice President and Regional Vice Presidents to maximize profitability, achieve budget targets, and limit risks.

Partner with the Division Vice President to set regional targets for revenue and profitability growth for forecasts and budgets.

Work to identify and solve for any gaps in the financial health of the division.

Coach, train, and develop a team of regional controllers who report directly to this position.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree is a plus

Seven to ten years of finance and / or accounting experience; experience in a K-12 education setting is preferred

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and contracts

Ability to effectively present information to executive-level leadership

Advanced proficiency with software packages including Excel and Word

Ability to manage and lead teams

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
