Position Overview :

In the Emergency Room (ER) setting, P atient Safety Observers -play a vital role in maintaining the safety of behavioral health patients. These patients may be experiencing psychiatric crises, suicidal ideation, aggression, or confusion due to mental illness or substance use, and require close monitoring.

Position Responsibilities :

• Continuous Observation
• Ensure the patient does not harm themselves or others.
• Remain alert and within sight of the patient at all times.
