About The Position We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, including day, night, and weekend shifts in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. The ideal candidate will possess current board certifications in Pediatrics and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC), along with at least one year of PICU experience. Job Details Location : Wisconsin Start Date : Jan 1, 2026 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Weekday shifts 7a-5p or 4p-7a; weekends 7a-7p or 7p-7a; 24-hour shifts considered Responsibilities and Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies Provide education and support to families regarding pediatric critical care conditions and treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Additional Information Board certifications required : Pediatrics and Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Minimum 1 year of experience in a PICU setting Wisconsin NP license required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
