• Work Where and When You Want!\n\nOverview : \n\nAre you seeking a flexible incentivized Registered Nurse position? Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift- whatever works best for you! No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.\n\nThe Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult / geriatric patients.\n\nThe Registered Nurse-GIG will float between the designated Mercy Hospital facilities in the below departments : \n\nCritical Care, Tele, Med / surg, Women Health, L&D, Behavioral Health, ER\n\nDepartments Utilizing GIG RNs : \n
• Behavioral Health (BH)\n
• Critical Care (Stepdown, ICU)\n
• Emergency Department (ED)\n
• Medical-Surgical (MS)\n
• Telemetry (Tele)\n
• Women's Health (L&D, M&B)\n\nFacilities / Locations : \n
• Mercy St. Louis - St.Louis, MO\n
• Mercy Jefferson - Festus, MO\n
• Mercy South - South St. Louis County, MO\n
• Mercy Washington - Washington, MO\n
• Mercy Lincoln - Troy, MO\n
• Mercy Perry - Perryville, MO\n
• Mercy Southeast - Cape Girardeau, MO\n
• Mercy Stoddard - Dexter, MO\n\nQualifications : \n
• Required Education : \n
• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program\n
• Preferred Education : \n
• BSN\n
• Licensure : \n
• Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current compact RN license\n
• Experience : \n
• One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg.\n
• For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience.\n
• Certifications : \n
• For Med Surg and Behavioral Health - BLS\n
• For Women's Health - BLS & NRP\n
• For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS\n
• For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS\n
