Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Weston, WV 26452 (West Virginia travel nursing assignment)

Unit : Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS / Tele) Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (option to extend up to 6 months)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend (option for blocked weekends)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or compact state)

Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Ability to work every third weekend as required

Excellent communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills

Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care on a busy MS / Tele unit, including care for stepdown-level patients

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients

Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR) promptly and accurately

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
