Among these services, Southern New Hampshire Diabetes and Endocrinology provides expert care for patients managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine conditions, with a focus on education, prevention, and long-term wellness.

About the Job : We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Diabetes and Endocrinology team. This role supports both clinical and administrative functions under the supervision of a provider and Practice Manager, contributing directly to patient care and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do :

• Assist in patient care in person, via phone, and telehealth under provider supervision
• Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and perform point-of-care testing
• Collect and document patient history and health information
• Communicate provider instructions and care plans to patients
• Document procedures, interventions, and communications in the medical record
• Support pre-visit preparation and patient outreach
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling and medical records
• Mentor new staff and participate in ongoing education and training
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
