Salary : $35 - $45 / hour
$5,000 Sign on Bonus!
There is an immediate opening for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) interested in hand therapy, with or willing to pursue a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential, to join our team. This position works closely with our fellowship-trained hand surgeon and CHT staff in our busy outpatient clinic. OFC is a privately owned organization.
The OT is responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed evaluation and treatment to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. This includes highly specialized knowledge and skills in evaluating, assessing, and treating upper extremity and hand dysfunction. The OT develops a treatment plan with measurable functional and rehabilitative goals to restore independence. Must perform age / diagnosis appropriate evaluation and reassessments specialized for the upper extremity and hand. The OT must possess advanced skills and training to fabricate orthosis, custom restorative devices, and promote ergonomic recovery.
Education :
Minimum of a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission of Accreditation in Occupational Therapy Education. New graduates welcome!
License / Certifications :
Current or eligible MN State Occupational Therapist License
Current or eligible National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Schedule :
Our office is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.
