Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Home Health assignment requiring at least one year of recent experience and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Home Health setting covering a territory up to a 60-mile radius from the office
  • Patient population is primarily geriatric
  • Typical caseload is 5-7 patients per day
  • Requires use of HCHB EMR with prior experience
  • Day shifts from 8 : 00 to 17 : 00, Monday through Friday
  • On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
  • iPad provided for documentation
  • Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
  • Timely documentation and clear communication with the care team required
  • Must wear scrubs of any color; jeans are not permitted
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Locals are accepted at the travel rate

    • Requirements

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year of recent PTA experience in a home health setting
  • Experience with HCHB EMR required
  • Flexibility with assigned territory and patient needs
