Strong orthopedic outpatient experience

Experience in chronic pain and general medical conditions

Description :

The Physical Therapist in this role will focus primarily on outpatient care with a strong emphasis on orthopedics.

Experience in vestibular, concussion management, and aquatic therapy is a plus, but not required.

The shift is weekdays from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

There will be a rotating 4-hour shift on Saturdays from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM, expected once or twice during the assignment.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and previous travel experience is preferred.

Certifications required include BLS and a state license.

The clinician will not serve locals who reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Finalized requests for time off must be included with submission, with no time off permitted in the first week of the assignment and a maximum of 7 days throughout the contract duration.

The facility is a critical access facility with a total of 25 staffed beds.

The daily patient load will range from 8 to 10 visits.

Patients will include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The role requires skills in lifting and transferring patients, as well as conducting assessments and evaluations.

Candidates must possess knowledge related to assistive devices, chronic conditions, and rehabilitation techniques relevant to outpatient therapy.

Holiday work may be required as needed throughout the assignment.
