We have an opening for an attorney focused on energy matters with at least 3 years of experience with utilities, regulatory, infrastructure and environmental law. Candidates should have experience advising on business, regulatory and transactional matters related to energy, climate change, water, solid waste and air quality. The attorney will advise clients on California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regulatory compliance and proceedings, draft and review energy agreements, support renewable energy project development, including solar, wind, and battery storage facilities, and handle regulatory filings and represent clients before the CPUC and California Energy Commission (CEC). Experience working with public agencies is a plus. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California.
The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an associate with 3 or more years of experience is $127,500 - $185,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate's years of practice and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
