Description

Maintains high quality cleaning standards and cleaning supply inventory, performs grounds maintenance duties, and timely repair and maintenance of facility equipment. Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure : Yes

Schedule : This position is for a full time, evening housekeeping / floor tech. Shifts are from 3pm-11 : 30pm with alternating weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains daily cleaning schedule using standard procedures. (Including but not limited to : vacuuming, mopping, dusting, floor care, and general cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms and facility.)
• Maintains all floors, i.e., stripping, refinishing and daily maintenance of various floor types and surfaces.
• Maintain carpet care and upholstery, extracts, shampoos and spot clean.
• Maintains proper appearance of grounds, and keeps walkways and parking areas free of debris, snow and ice.
• Reports the need for repairs or replacement of equipment, furniture and fixtures.
• Assists with patient evacuation in case of fire or other emergency and during fire drills.
• Responsible for adhering to all safety practices and procedures.
• Knows the mission and values of Ranken Jordan and in accordance, maintains appropriate professional behavior at all times.
• All other duties as assigned by the Manager and / or Administrator of Facilities.

Physical Demands

These include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, climbing ladders, standing, carrying, and lifting of heavy loads (up to 50 lb.)
