Senior Partner, Advertising Sales, Walmart Connect - PLUS role at Walmart Connect.

Base pay range

$108,000.00 / yr - $216,000.00 / yr

Position summary

Walmart Connect is the retail media business within Walmart, Inc. We offer omnichannel experiences to connect brands with customers. This role focuses on delivering full-funnel, performant advertising solutions for brands across categories, acting as a consultative sales partner to clients, Merchandising partners, and Marketing support to grow advertiser businesses and drive revenue at Walmart. The primary goal is to increase adoption of PLUS ad products by connecting Walmart Connect Sales and Product teams with advertisers. The role provides opportunities to influence senior stakeholder level outcomes as part of cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

Consult with cross-functional partners to create custom advertising solutions that address both short-term and long-term customer needs.
Communicate effectively with colleagues across departments, leverage team strengths, articulate ideas and plans, and incorporate feedback into sales strategies.
Manage financial results within assigned areas, understand revenue, budgeting, and cost efficiency, and implement strategies to maximize profitability and meet / exceed targets.
Utilize data and metrics to analyze problems, think creatively, and apply sales knowledge to solve issues; differentiate between symptoms and root causes.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues; address conflicts professionally and seek win-win resolutions.
Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, allocating resources, and measuring progress.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, assigning duties, and conducting performance evaluations; foster a culture of belonging.
Promote and support company policies, ethics, and Open Door Policy; ensure compliance and ethical conduct.
Support and model Walmart values, servant leadership, curiosity, digital transformation, customer focus, strategic thinking, and collaboration.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

Option 1 : Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.

Option 2 : Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.

Option 3 : 5 years’ experience in brand advertising, media sales, or related areas; 5 years’ experience in shopper marketing / ecommerce advertising or retail advertising sales; 5 years’ experience managing client accounts; 5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor to C-suite clients.

Preferred qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.
