MMR is seeking candidates with a degree in accounting, finance, or industry related equivalent. Analyze expenditures and purchase (Accounts Payable) for use tax compliance. Analyze customer invoices (Accounts Receivable) for sales tax compliance. Submit Tax Returns (State and Local Jurisdictions) Monitor tax code and rate changes across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain accurate and up to date records (document control). Direct sales tax experience is required Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity Working knowledge of MS Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required Able to work effectively under time pressure and / or deadline Excellent verbal and written communication skills Regular and reliable attendance at work MMR Group, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("MMR") is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally protected class.
