Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Minnesota requiring both OB and Med / Surg expertise and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities Work setting includes OB (labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery) and Med / Surg units

Critical access facility with an average census of 10-12 patients

Labor & Delivery nurse maintains 1 : 1 ratio; postpartum / nursery 3 : 1 couplet care

Med-Surg assignment is 1 : 4 ratio on days and up to 1 : 5 on nights

Shifts are 3x12 hours, primarily nights (19 : 00-07 : 00) with option for rotating days / nights every three weeks

Required to work every third weekend

No on-call responsibilities

Will care for a mixed patient population in both obstetric and medical-surgical units as census fluctuates

Assignment includes coverage in postpartum, nursery, and med / surg based on patient needs

Team structure supports flexible assignment between OB and Med / Surg

Compliance with orientation and training requirements prior to start

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule

Scrub or dress code details will be provided prior to start

Requirements Active and unrestricted MN RN license

Minimum required experience in both OB / Labor & Delivery and Med / Surg settings

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NRP (NRP may be pending at time of consideration)

Recent professional experience and references relevant to OB / Labor & Delivery and Med / Surg
