Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior EHS Manager (Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager) to join our team at our Reidsville facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local US regulations. This position requires a strong, practical understanding of US EHS laws and the ability to champion a strong safety culture across the site.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime, weekends and different shifts as needed.
• Must be available to answer emergency calls.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or a related technical field.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as an EHS professional, preferably in a Manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Regulatory Expertise (Mandatory) : Solid and demonstrable knowledge and practical understanding of US federal EHS regulations (OSHA and EPA) and applicable state / local EHS laws in North Carolina.
• Strong knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
• Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with incident investigation, EHS auditing, environmental permit management, and LOTO programs.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively train personnel and interface with regulatory agencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strongly Preferred Qualifications / Certifications :

OSHA Outreach Trainer certification

CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) Certification.
