  • The registered nurse is responsible for applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills to promote the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards\n
  • The RN serves as a single point of contact for patients, their families, caregivers, and referring physicians to assist in accessing clinical and supportive services across the care continuum\n
  • This RN provides guidance to patients and families to improve their understanding and promote their participation with Palliative Care\n
  • This position will facilitate patient appointments, including diagnostics, specialty services, and consults, as well as offer educational and emotional support\n\nYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.\n\nRequired Qualifications : \n
  • Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program\n
  • Current and valid Texas RN license\n
  • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association\n
  • 1+ years of clinical experience\n
  • Experience with EMRs\n
  • Basic computer skills\n
  • Clear communication, organizational and problem-solving skills\n
  • Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, and oxygen administration\n
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation and current insurance coverage as position may require sporadic travel throughout the greater Houston area, per the physician direction for home visits\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing\n
  • ACLS and / or PALS\n
  • Specialty nursing certification in Palliative Care or one appropriate to the specialty area assigned\n
  • Ambulatory Care, Hospital, Hospice or Palliative Care experience\n
  • EPIC experience\n
  • Windows bases computer skills\n\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment.
