Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details :

  • Work day shift from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Weekend requirements apply
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients
  • Conduct technically proficient 2D, M-mode and Doppler cardiac exams
  • Coordinate activities with hospital departments including scheduling exams and transporting patients
  • Assist cardiologists during exam dictation by preparing and measuring M-modes
  • Respond to patient needs during examinations and report condition changes to physicians or nurses
  • Maintain echo supply orders and keep examination rooms clean and organized
  • Share responsibility for on-call coverage for emergency echo exams outside regular hours
  • Maintain quality control of equipment operation and examination quality
  • Required certifications : A.R.D.M.S. / CCI registered or registry eligible, State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License, BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Minimum qualifications : High school diploma, two-year allied health education program preferred
  • Two years of active echocardiogram experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to work under stressful conditions
  • Manual dexterity required to perform echocardiograms
  • Physical requirements include lifting patients and pushing heavy equipment
