About the Opportunity
You’ll be part of a team dedicated to improving manufacturing performance and reliability. Working closely with production, quality, and operational excellence functions, your role will be to optimize automation, support digital transformation, and ensure that our production systems meet both engineering and quality expectations. This is more than maintenance — it’s about engineering change and building future‑resilient processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and correct inefficiencies, control issues, and equipment obsolescence
- Develop improvement strategies aligned with site goals and priorities
- Diagnose and fix performance problems in automated equipment at machine or system level
- Map production workflows, identify critical control points, and define operational tolerances
- Review design of new or modified equipment to ensure it matches intended automation and quality needs
- Support plant‑wide digital technologies and smart initiatives
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, statistical tools to analyze data and remove bottlenecks
- Define inputs, outputs, materials, and acceptable variance at each stage of production
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)Around 5–10 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing / automation / controlsStrong background in integrating mechanical systems and automation (PLC / SCADA / HMI knowledge plus ownership of design intent)Experience in safety, regulatory compliance, and validation, especially in bio or pharmaceutical contextsDemonstrated ability in risk mitigation, failure mode prevention, and process controlInvolvement in Industry 4.0 pilots (robotics, vision systems, etc.) is a plusExcellent skills in process modeling, statistical methods, and structured problem resolutionCompensation & Employment Details
Estimated base salary range : $104,000 to $143,000 annually (may vary based on experience, location, and skillset)Eligible for discretionary performance bonusMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not availableBenefits
