Travel Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary : $2250 - $2310 Assignment Length : 13 weeks (commitment through the New Year required) Location : Columbus, OH 43205 – Ohio healthcare job Setting : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Float Pool Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Orientation : 72 hours PICU RN Qualifications Active Ohio or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience (1.5 years may be considered case-by-case) BLS and PALS certifications required Proficiency with Epic charting system (self-rate at least 3 / 4) Ability to float to NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Department (ED), stepdown, and MedSurg units as needed 2 professional references required at submission (at least one from a manager or supervisor) Cannot have worked permanent at the facility within the past 2 years Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility (no local candidates) First-time travel nurses considered with 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience PICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU and other assigned units Float to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and MedSurg units, adapting to each unit’s protocols and patient needs Perform advanced clinical skills : ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration Interpret arterial blood gases, manage acute and chronic renal failure, and respond to pediatric emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Comply with infection control and PPE protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel PICU Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio, and take the next step in your nursing career!
