JOB SUMMARY

Location : Westbrook ME office- 5 days in office

UPDATED 10 / 7 / 25 : Schedule : Monday- Friday, 8 hours / day

Start time : 8 : 30 am (1 / 2-hour lunch)

Duration : 6 weeks- 10 / 27 / 25- 12 / 7 / 25 (possible 2 week extension, if needed)

Experience : Intermediate- we need workers who will be able to start with limited training.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary I-9 Audit Assistant to support our People Operations team in conducting a comprehensive audit of Form I-9 records. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with federal employment eligibility verification requirements and maintaining accurate employee documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and verify existing Form I-9 documentation for completeness and compliance with federal regulations.
• Identify and flag incomplete or incorrect I-9 forms.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the audit process.
• Document audit findings following a set process.
• Support other administrative tasks related to the I-9 audit as needed.
