Requirements

  • A bachelor\'s degree in the field of human services is required. Examples include psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Some positions may prefer a master\'s degree but accept a bachelor\'s for entry-level roles.
  • QMHP Certification, Preferred
  • Must possess a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) Certification

    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Conduct substance abuse screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Co-facilitate and / or facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions
  • Provide case management, including linking clients to community resources and services, including healthcare providers and community organizations.
  • For court mandated clients, conduct case management and completion of all progress reports and communication with juvenile justice system.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with all regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.
  • Participate in professional development and training.
  • Provide ongoing care coordination and advocacy to help individuals achieve goals and eliminate challenges to program participation (transportation, childcare, virtual supports, etc).
  • Providing ongoing support and advocacy to help clients achieve and maintain recovery.
