We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in Rhode Island, starting Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity requires just 1 hour per month, focusing on provider supervision and chart review for NPs and PAs in an outpatient setting. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of outpatient psychiatric experience and hold board certification in psychiatry.

Job Details

  • Schedule : 1 hour per month

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise and review NP and PA charts (1 hour per month)
  • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Provide clinical guidance to advanced practice providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

    • Additional Information

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN)
  • Minimum 2 years of outpatient psychiatric experience required
  • Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) and DEA required
  • Prior supervisory or collaborative experience is highly valued
  • Rhode Island state license required
