About The Position

Description :

Seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage across two locations in Idaho. The role involves both night and day shifts, ensuring comprehensive obstetric hospitalist support. The ideal provider should be board-certified and licensed to practice in Idaho or through the IMLC.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide inpatient obstetric hospitalist coverage during scheduled shifts.

Manage labor and delivery, postpartum, and related obstetric cases.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Cover multiple sites as scheduled.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Job Requirements

Board Certified (required).

Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC (required).

Must be available for all scheduled coverage dates across both Boise and Nampa locations.

COVID-19 vaccination required (verbal confirmation needed at name clear).

Local candidates preferred.

Must provide necessary credentialing documents, including certifications, immunizations, and references.

Working Hours :

Night float : Sunday–Thursday, 7 PM–7 AM (in-house every other month).

Weekend : Friday–Sunday, 7 AM–7 PM (in-house not required).

Skills :

Expertise in obstetric hospital medicine.

Strong clinical decision-making and patient management abilities.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
