Operations Manager / Charleston Terminal

Savannah Logistics Group is seeking an energetic, personable, and organized Operations Manager for our Charleston, SC terminal to oversee all daily terminal operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective logistics activities. This role manages warehouse, yard, and dispatch operations, coordinates with drivers, customers, and internal departments, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operational Leadership :

Direct, coordinate, and oversee terminal operations including inbound / outbound freight, loading / unloading, dispatch, and warehousing.

Supervise and develop staff including supervisors, dispatchers, warehouse associates, and drivers.

Serve as primary operational point of contact for customers and vendors.

Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety policies and DOT / OSHA compliance.

Manage terminal budgets, labor costs, and equipment utilization.
