Reports to : IC&E Engineering Manager

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical protection relays, controls, and switchgear for Medium Voltage electrical generation, distribution, and substation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and testing of new electrical protection relays and controls
• Troubleshooting and repair for existing electrical protection and control systems
• Testing, troubleshooting, and repair for LV and MV breakers, switchgear, and CT / PT circuits
• Assisting the engineering and operations teams with new equipment commissioning
• Assisting the engineering team with the creation of as-built protection / control schematics
• Supporting existing power generation fleets, compression stations, and other operational sites
• Documenting equipment test procedures and results
• Providing technical support to the remote operations center as needed
