Overview :

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual role as Scheduler / Rehab Technician . This position plays a critical role in both staff scheduling coordination and direct support of our rehabilitation team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Coordinate and manage daily and weekly staff schedules for nursing and / or rehab departments

Ensure adequate staffing coverage while meeting facility and regulatory requirements

Monitor call-outs, approve / track time-off requests, and promptly fill scheduling gaps

Communicate schedule changes clearly and professionally to team members

Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports

Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists during therapy sessions

Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after use

Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions as needed

Support patients with therapeutic exercises under the guidance of licensed therapists

Document participation and other relevant observations as directed

Promote a safe, motivating, and supportive rehab environment

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Experience working with elderly or rehabilitation populations a plus

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software

Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely as needed

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
