DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Installation Police Officer, you will be responsible for providing police services and ensuring the safety and protection of employees, the public, and all property, facilities, and grounds. Your duties will involve patrolling the area on foot or by vehicle, investigating accidents, and responding to calls for assistance or emergencies. As a sworn police officer, you will also enforce laws, rules, and regulations through warnings, citations, and arrests. Additionally, you will be required to direct traffic at public events and vehicle accident sites, operate patrol vehicles and communication equipment, and administer first aid in emergency situations. To ensure you are equipped with essential job knowledge, you will also participate in training programs.

Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
