We are a family in Hawthorne, California seeking a responsible and caring nanny to assist with occasional childcare for our primary school-aged child. This is a live-out position, and we are offering $20 per hour. We are hoping to find someone who can provide a safe and nurturing environment for our child when we need to attend to other commitments.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with children of similar age and be able to engage and entertain them with age-appropriate activities. We need someone who is reliable, punctual, and flexible with their schedule as our needs may vary. Additionally, the ability to help with light meal preparation and tidying up after the child is preferred.

My daughter is 7 years old and super easy and very well behaved. Only difficult thing about her is she is a type 1 diabetic and will need monitoring. I will go over and show anyone who watches her how to monitor. Even tho my daughter is only 7 she’s very aware and knowledgeable about her own diabetes and her care.
