Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology department with adult outpatient, inpatient, and ICU patient populations Responsibilities include procedures such as biopsies, stent placement, angioplasties, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, vascular and neuro studies, and venous access Utilize equipment including PACS, C-Arm, injector systems (preferably ACIST), pushable / detachable coils, microcatheters, microwires, and snare kits Epic EMR experience is required 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Assigned an average of 10 on-call days per month, including weekend coverage Floating is not required Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility Scrubs are provided and clinicians must adhere to provided scrub color requirements Onsite parking is available at no cost All clinicians are required to complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to starting and must be clean-shaven for FIT testing Pre-start training modules are required and completed before the assignment begins Candidates who have worked as a traveler at this facility must take a 6-month break before returning First-time travelers are accepted for consideration Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings Current ARRT and BLS certifications are required Proficiency in procedures involving stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, and neuro studies Experience with PACS, C-Arm, microcatheters, microwires, and injector systems required Epic EMR experience is required Must be able to use and deploy pushable / detachable coils, microcatheters, microwires, snare kits, and injector systems Pending license may be accepted at manager's discretion RTO must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation subject to manager approval License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-597572.
