Intrepid Investment Bankers is seeking talented professionals for its 2026 full-time Analyst class. Intrepid is one of the largest and fastest growing specialty middle-market investment banks in the United States, specializing in M&A and capital advisory services.

The firm is headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Charlotte, Nashville, and New York. Analysts in the 2026 class may be offered positions in the firm's Los Angeles, Charlotte, New York and Nashville offices, with the exact number of positions available in each office expected to be determined when offers are extended.

Responsibilities

Analysts are an important part of Intrepid deal teams, working closely with Managing Directors, Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates, and clients. Analysts are involved in all phases of execution including :

• Performing client specific and industry research
• Organizing, reviewing, and analyzing due diligence processes and materials
• Developing valuation analyses and models (projections, LBO, DCF, public comparable, historical M&A transactions, etc.)
• Preparing comprehensive information packages, pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations and marketing materials
• Compiling prospective acquirer lists
• Assisting senior bankers in firm building activities (training, recruiting, etc.)

The typical base pay for this role is $100K. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
