Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a motivated, career-focused individual to oversee and coordinate quality inspection activities, ensuring products meet design requirements. This management position involves leading a team of quality inspectors, collaborating with production teams, and communicating with customers and vendors to maintain and improve quality, including ISO certification.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manage a Quality Team of 6+ individuals.
  • Act as the primary contact for quality with customers and vendors.
  • Participate in achieving quality objectives, timely inspection delivery, and personnel development.
  • Track and report company-wide metrics.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits.
  • Create and maintain product and process documentation.
  • Investigate root causes of product quality issues and administer corrective actions.
  • Maintain equipment calibrations and training records.
  • Maintain customer compliance documentation (Reach, Rohs, etc.).
  • Assist in managing the QMS and ERP system, maintaining quality certifications.
  • Conduct incoming receiving.

Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree or higher or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with GD&T and various measurement techniques (gages, micrometers, comparators).
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer skills for ERP system reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprint specifications.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test screening.

    • Job Type :

  • Full-time, Salaried

    • Schedule :

  • 8-hour shift, 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and extended hours.

    • Pay Range :

  • $70k-$100k Annual Salary
