As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Access Control in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an ACCESS_CONTROL professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine checks and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional interactions. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Manage access control protocols by verifying credentials and authorizing entry to restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical facility.
  • Monitor and document all incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Assist in the enforcement of site-specific policies to help maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service to clients and staff by addressing inquiries and offering assistance related to security-related procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed logs and reports on daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during the shift.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
