Solid Waste Truck Driver
This is skilled work in driving large capacity trucks used in transporting solid waste from transfer stations to the solid waste disposal sites. Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks as well as making the necessary maintenance checks and completing required paperwork. Work requires the use of vehicle control skills sufficient to operate large trucks often in unfavorable weather conditions and heavy traffic. The full pay range for this position is $21.52 / hourly $44,761.60 annually - $37.66 / hourly $78,332.80 annually.

The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. DOT regulations require medical certification.
