Job Description

As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol - Full Time in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure atmosphere.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at the location.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with campus personnel and Allied Universal management to address site-specific concerns and maintain open communication.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to ride a bike for extended periods of time is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
