About The Position

Job Title : Nursing Home Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Full Time mix shift of PM and Day shift

Hours per Shift : 7-Day shifts (6am-2pm), 3-PM shifts (2pm-10pm)

Experience : 1+ years of related work experience preferred

License : Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license

Certifications : Current CPR / BLS certification required

Must-Have : Two-year degree in nursing required; Four-year degree in nursing preferred

Description :

The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities.

This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Timely communication to physicians, families, and others regarding significant changes in resident condition is essential.

Complete all applicable resident assessments.

Administer medications while adhering to the 5 Rights.

Perform wound care and assessments as needed.

Assist CNAs with answering call lights.

Monitor residents for changes in condition.

Act as a leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed.

Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and precise charting.

Perform other duties as requested.
