REILLY CENTER PROGRAM GENERALIST
Summary
The Reilly Center Program Generalist oversees the daily operations of the Reilly Center facility, serves as a receptionist for clients and visitors, is responsible for assigned commercial insurance payors and accounts from initiation to payment resolution, serves as the Reilly Center liaison for the VOAGBR Human Resources Department, and assures effectiveness and efficiency in all business operations. This position reports directly to the Behavioral Health Clinical Director and serves as support to the Reilly Center programs.

Essential Functions
- Greets Reilly Center clients and facility visitors; answers phone, schedules client appointments as needed; accepts credit card / cash payments from clients.
- Verifies eligibility, copay, co-insurance, or deductibles before client sessions.
- Administers Front Desk feature of the EHR system, including initiating the claims process through inputting of client benefits assignments, researching and resolving billing failures, and communicating this information to the finance department.
- Uploads external documents into the EHR, all materials collected component.
- Monitors compliance of key components in the EHR system.
- Follows up with commercial payors through payment resolution.
- Tracks and submits updated commercial insurance credentialing for licensed clinicians.
- Processes bills from utilities, copier contract coverage, Cox, purchase orders, Total Occupational Health, Staples, and all other vendors.
- Coordinates with outside vendors for supplies and / or services needed by Reilly Center.
- Assures that Client Satisfaction Surveys are completed for each of the Reilly Center’s programs.
- Distributes faxes and mail for Reilly Center staff.
- Maintains licensing files and annual renewal of Fire Alarm Inspection, Sprinkler Inspection, and Fire Extinguishers, State Fire Marshall, Health Inspection, Facility License (Behavioral, DHH, and DCFS), Liability, and Property Insurance.
- Assures completion of all New Hire Packets for Reilly Center for Children and Families, including clinical licensure checks, background checks, fingerprinting, Motor Vehicle Registry, and State Central Registry checks on all new employees and annually for existing employees.
- Maintains the integrity of personnel files and ensures all required updates to files are completed in designated timeframes as indicated by VOASCL personnel policies and procedures.
- Assures that all Reilly Center staff have completed required online training in the VOASCL web-based training system.
- Delivers marketing materials to community referral sources as needed.
Competencies
Proficient in health insurance knowledge including benefit verification and understanding of plan requirements for accurate claim filing.Exceptional organizational and time management skills required and considered crucial.Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel.Must be dependable in work attendance.Genuine interest in the health and welfare of others, particularly those with mental health issues.Must demonstrate professionalism and integrity in working with peers, colleagues, and clients.Supervisory Responsibility

Required Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred.
This can be substituted for a minimum of two years of experience in commercial insurance claims submission, accounts receivable and payable, and office management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee can sometimes be exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
