Anytime Flooring is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver that will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the efficient and effective operation of a warehouse facility. Anytime Flooring is a leading flooring and installation provider in the Southeast Region. We have over 10 years of professional flooring experience in both commercial and residential projects. Our experienced professionals are eager to guide and assist clients through numerous product options and insightful design projects.

Job Summary : Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies in a timely manner. The Warehouse Helper must ensure accurate inventory management, proper handling of goods, and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying their contents and checking for damages or discrepancies.
  • Unload, sort, and store incoming materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments, including quantity, quality, and any damages or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely transport and stack materials.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, ensuring aisles, storage areas, and equipment are kept clean and free from obstructions.
  • Deliver materials to job sites / pick up materials from vendors
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with computerized inventory systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, and report any potential hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the implementation of warehouse process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and report any product quality issues or packaging deficiencies.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to warehousing and inventory management.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Must have a valid Class D driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle report screening.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  • Knowledge of proper handling and storage techniques for various types of materials, including hazardous substances.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with other departments.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software. Computer knowledge is a plus.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
