Job Description
As a Security Officer - Education Patrol in NAPA, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and outstanding communication will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your role in customer service and access control plays a key part in maintaining a positive experience for all. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus, buildings, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.Monitor entrances and exits to help to prevent unauthorized entry and to maintain order on the property.Document observations, occurrences, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific policies tailored to an educational setting.Support emergency procedures as required, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuation processes, coordinating with campus officials and first responders as needed.Interact with students, faculty, staff, and visitors to provide information, directions, and assistance as needed, promoting a positive and secure environment.What We're Looking For :
