Position Description :

Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, Interventional Radiology, this position is responsible for performing routine and specialized radiographic procedures in the Special Procedures areas, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.

o\tActs independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

o\tExhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities

o\tEmbraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications :

1.\tHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.

2.\tGraduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.

3.\tValid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) is required.

4.\tAmerican Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography is required.

5.\tCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS card is required.

6.\tA minimum of 18 months of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.

7.\tKnowledge of contrast media, radiation physics, anatomy and radiographic positioning, as well as familiarity with a variety of radiographic and support equipment, including the ability to independently operate and troubleshoot the equipment is required.

8.\tCannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

9.\tAbility to complete the orientation and training. We have different options to choose from that will meet your schedule.
