OB / GYN - Physician

Location : Colorado

Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient

Contract : ongoing, start as soon as credentialed

Schedule Options : Monday-Friday, full time schedule split between hospital and clinic (details below)

Job Details

  • Seeking a locums OB / GYN Physician to provide fulltime weekday coverage at a facility in Colorado starting as soon as credentialed.
  • Schedule Requirements :

Monday-Friday,fulltime, day shifts

Hospital - M-F Varies

  • Office / Clinic - 8a-5p M-F
  • Provider will work 4 days in clinic and 8 days of call per month. CNMs generally cover weekends as 1st call.
  • On Call Requirements : 1 in 4. Clinic days are 4 days per provider.

    • Call Back Percentage : Weekday - 80%; Weekend - 80%; OB - 80%; GYN - 20%

  • Weekends are not required but may be available as needed
  • 24 hr In-house : NO
  • Required Procedures :

    • Obstetrics : Low risk pregnancy - Pt's with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis,etc. High risk pregnancy - Pt.'s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc. FHR interpretation - NST / CST / FSE, OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation (Level I / screening (viability)

  • Labor and Delivery : Routine delivery -Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section. Complicated delivery -C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc. Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Gynecology : Office / minor gynecology -IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology - open. laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only -tubal ligation, LOA's, chromal tubation. operative / major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's

    • Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified OB / GYN (ABMS / AOA) - REQUIRED
  • CO License or IMLC

    • REQUIRED

  • Must be available to provide full time coverage - REQUIRED (will not accept anything less than 3 weeks / month - no exceptions)
  • COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED
  • Must disclose the # of years of Epic Experience and the Last MM / YYYY provider used EPIC - REQUIRED
