Job Summary
The Pediatric Specialty Clinic PSR Supervisor is responsible for sustaining an environment of intrinsic goodwill for the practice while providing optimum services to patients. This position serves as an office supervisor and functions under the direction of the CAARE Center Admin Officer, supervising a small group of employees and providing accountability as delegated for the day-to-day operations of the designated clinic location(s).
The PSR Supervisor position provides essential leadership and oversight within the Pediatric Ambulatory Services Department, ensuring efficient operations, exceptional patient service, and the ongoing development of a high-performing team. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities related to staff supervision, daily operations management, administrative support, and interdepartmental collaboration.
The PSR Supervisor plays a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, promoting effective communication, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

The vision of the Department of Pediatrics is the healthiest future for all children and families, with a mission dedicated to creating a healthy future for all children through outstanding patient care, transformative research, innovative medical education, and community-based advocacy. As part of this mission, the purpose of the CAARE Diagnostic and Treatment Center is to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed patient care (mental health services), teaching, and research on behalf of abused / neglected and at-risk children. The CAARE Center specializes in treating childhood trauma, offering evidence-based treatment within a multidisciplinary setting that values staff wellness. Mental health services are provided to children ages 0 to 21 through various service contracts and grants across settings, including outpatient clinics, pediatric clinics, juvenile halls, and community settings.
