• 2+ recent years of experience as a PCU / Stepdown / Tele RN

License :

Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Certifications :

BLS

ACLS from AHA

Must-Have :

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services

Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Demonstrates strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking in patient care.

Maintains knowledge of medications and their administration, including medication drips.

Engages in continuous learning and professional development as a nursing professional.
