JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting and monitoring the warehouse activities throughout the shift while maintaining all processes impeccably. This individual is expected to work closely with the Warehouse Team using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Assist any warehouse customers by opening the locked front gate and back door
• Monitor Stock Room activity and make sure paperwork is completed for items removed
• Allocate checked out items in Aspen Canopy by generating an adjustment journal daily
• Engrave knives and tools with RMI Laser system using SymbolWriter Pro software
• Scan purchase orders and receipt documentation into Aspen Canopy using a copier / scanner
• Weekly cycle counting of stock room inventory
• Setting up of new item locations and labeling of inventory
• Receiving and stocking of purchased goods inventory in the designated stock locations
• Warehouse, North Dock Racks and Receiving Dock, Red Room, Bag, & Box warehouse housekeeping
• “5S” implementation with focus on visual order, organization, cleanliness, and standardization
• Year-end cycle counting
• Year-end file purging
• Load and unload storage / transfer trailers
• Data Entry / Computer Literacy (must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office)
• All other duties that support the Warehouse as assigned by Warehouse Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift and carry for short distances; 0 – 50+lbs; Able to work in a warehouse environment; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair / beard net, etc.
