About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical experience required

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Epic experience required

First-time travelers are welcome

2 years of overall experience required

Description : Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM.

Night hours : 36 hours per week.

Opportunity to pick up additional hours as needed.

Guaranteed hours per week : 36.

Weekend requirement : every other Friday and Saturday.

Float requirement : as needed to like medical surgical departments.

Patient diagnoses include pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, AMS, and sepsis.

The patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.

Modules are required and are non-billable, with hours completed during orientation and annually.

References are required.
