Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is hiring for two Administrative Managers to lead operations in their downtown and Century City Los Angeles offices . These high-impact positions will report directly to the Director of Business Operations and are ideal for professionals with a strong law firm background and proven team leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily administrative operations for assigned local offices (LA, OC, and SD)
- Directly manage 7 to10 reports and 25+ staff in the LA region, including secretaries and department assistants
- Provide indirect oversight of outsourced office services, reception, and facilities teams
- Drive initiatives related to recruiting, integration, professional development , and training for legal support teams
- Coordinate local events , community outreach, and assist with budget monitoring
- Collaborate across departments and interface with firmwide stakeholders
- Travel to regional offices up to once per month
Required Experience & Qualifications :
Law firm experience requiredMinimum of 5 years team management experience; 7+ years of legal operations or administrative experienceProven ability to manage legal secretaries and professional support staffSkilled in onboarding, coaching, and performance managementStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration across teamsBachelors degree strongly preferredTechnical Proficiencies :
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience managing operations budgets , events, and vendor relationshipsFamiliarity with legal support tools, facilities management, and document workflowsOnsite 4 days a week (this could change at any time)
